  As with girls it depends on the guy and the glasses. Both of the sexes can be hindered asthetically depending on the type of glasses he or she is wearing. (this is coming from a fairly cute person as a child who was forced to wear hideous glasses) But for the most part a pair of wire frames or tasteful horn rims on a guy can look amazing.
